Help!

I have a Directv dish with the old style 3 LNB's connected to a 4 port switch. I have one RG 6 running in to the house and I want to purchase something that will take that 1 cable from the switch and allow me to connect the existing cable in each room then to a receiver in each room.

I am trying like hell to not have to run more cable from the dish inside.

Also, how about combining cable tv with this and use a diplex thing?

I purchased a Terk device but that wants me to run a wire for SAT A & B which said it would run with an existing switch but that is not the case.

Any ideas?

It can't be done that way. The communication between receiver and multiswitch on the dish is two way. More than one receiver can't send different signals over the same line to the multiswitch. An antenna can be diplexed into a Sat line and diplexed out again into Sat and Ant though because the signals are different frequencies.

That Terk device is probably a 5x8 multiswitch. It will work but needs four lines from the dish to its inputs so all four signal types from the receivers can be handled. http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb...threadid=55509
