I have a difficult room. Our house is open from one end to the other. My HT is setup on the extreme end, which is about 15 ft. wide with an 8 ft. ceiling. From there, the room opens up to a vaulted ceiling for about 20 ft., then the goes back to 8 ft. ceiling for about 20 ft. where the kitchen/dining area is. So, technically, I have 55 ft. long room. I have the TV, and main speakers on the end wall, with a sub in the front right corner. The rears are quite a way back, all the way to the rear of the vaulted ceiling area (aobout 35 ft. from the TV, up about 8 ft. high. We sit about 12 ft. back from the screen and front speakers. I want to mount the TV on the wall, with the center mounted under the TV. Thinking of moving the sub to the back of the listening area, about 16 ft. from the TV, on the right hand side of the room. Also thinking of moving the rears up about halfway from where they are in the vaulted part of the room, to about 25 ft. back from the TV. So, I have a large room, but the main sound producing components are located in a 15 ft. wide by 15 ft. deep area, with 8 ft. ceiling.
Any help with this type of setup is very greatly appreciated.
