Hey...I know..I know...search but the Sox game is on soon.

So...

just got a 318 in from Amazon. Hooked it up and started playing with it and it froze on me. Finally got it to shut off and now it won't turn on

I get nothing from it...


Anybody else have this problem? I've changed outlets/unplugged it/etc.


Also...what will Amazon do? I know that they'll exchange it for me but will they overnight me the new one. I paid for 2 day delivery on this on so I'd be mighty ticked off to wait anything over a day for a new one.

Will they return the DVD that is in there now? Will they just send me a new one?

No, they won't overnight it to you. They'll work it out where you get an exchange for a new one at no cost to you. I hope you saved your receipt and your boxes. Simply go online to your Amazon account and you'll a return option. Follow the instructions.

I've already done that and they noted that shipping will be refunded but I'm still not going to be enjoying my 318 within 2 days of ordering.

I just hope like heck they don't send it their 5-10 day to the other side of the world and back shipping...

Depends. I live pretty near one of their warehouses so I can order super saver shipping and have most merchandise in two business days. By your location, you aren't that far from it either.
