Looking at a 32" for the bedroom entertaiment center. Space is a annoying problem without having to modify the furniture. I only have 32" width and 26" height. At the moment there is a 27" Sharp tube tv there. Some 32" LCD models with side speakers get to be 35". If I have to modify the Ent Center ( cut and re-position shelves ) I'd go all the way for a 37" fit.

I've been looking at the Sam LN-T3253H, it just fits without trouble. Kinda pricey at $1000+

I'm not considering the 1080p's ( Sharp ) at 32" I figure it's just a gimmick and can't see a difference anyway.

Anybody else have a favorite 32" LCD models to consider ?

Yes, I have the same problem. After doing much looking, I decided on the LG 32LC2DU (32"). It has bottom speakers and is under 32" wide. Their xxLC7D (the latest versions) have a higher contrast ratio than last years xxLC2D models and retains their "ISP" processing which eliminates the fast panning motion blur that most LCD (more and less expensive brands/models) have.

I was about to give up on LCD dispays because of the motion blur (the 27" Olevia, with the speaker "elephant ears", I bought for the spare room drives me nuts). That is, until I saw the LGs side by side with more expensive Panasonic models - both showing a basketball game. I wound up buying my LG from CC because they had the best price - even beating most on-line stores.

After some tweaking, I got my set to look as good as the old 27" Sony CRT that it replaced. My 32LC2DU model also has 2 HDMI inputs as well as 2 sets of component inputs. Feeding it the output from my DirecTV H20 STB, I get excellent SD and HD video. Of course, the output from my DVD player looks very good too - better than SDTV but not quite as good as HDTV (I haven't connected the DVD player's upscaled HDMI output yet - we're watching too much TV on it).

I have the same model and love it. Great bedroom set, especially for the price.

First one I picked up at CC had some type 3 muras though; swapped it out and haven't had a complaint since.

BTW: It's a 768 set (noticed your thread asked about 720)

I will put in a "plug" for the Vizio VX32L (newer "A" model). I just installed one in an existing wall unit with a 32" limit as well. (measures less than 31.5" wide). I am very pleased with the Vizio. HD reception over-the-air is spectacular and the real surprise was feeding my Dish satellite box into the Vizio with plain old "composite" cable. The compressed feed from the satellite at 480i SD is very watchable. I was expecting the worst after reading a lot of posts about SD on an LCD set, but even using composite (or maybe because of it ? ) the viewing experience is very good. Price of the Vizio was a very compelling argument for it as well.
