Hi,

I have a Sony 34XBR800 Direct View TV. Recently, I have discovered some fingerprints on the screen which don't seem to come off. I don't want to damage the anti reflective coating on the screen (if it even has it). Are there any recommendations out there for getting these off. It's quite annoying, since they can be seen even when the tv is on.

Thanks,

Ray

One big downside of these big tubes is they are DUST magnets!

what I do at night is turn off the lights and take a cotton cloth

with warm/hot water and wipe the screen and before the water gets cold

wipe off the excess water (dry cloth) so there are no streaks.

I hold a small flashlight aimed up and look over the screen if I miss any spots.

Then blow my breath on it and wipe right away holding the flashlight to check.
