Hello everyone!

I have a 61" HLN model Sammy DLP.

My question is this.

Which connection for the 360 should I use? Component or VGA as the Sammy has a vga input.

Or will it not matter?

Thanks in advance!

Good question. I am betting both will be very close and not make a huge difference but it does add an extra input so it is good on that note.

Component will be just fine for that TV. For the Xbox 360, it shouldn't matter which connection you use when it comes to actual perceptible differences in visual quality. I'm personally using component even though my display has a VGA input.

That is what I am thinking too. I have never used the VGA input. I send everthing via component or my DVI switch. Going VGA would for sure at least utilize a new input allowing me to keep my current Xbox on its component input. Though, I would not even consider this if picture quality would suffer via VGA. I would assume this to not be the case.

Oh, how I do wish that there was a DVI connection!
