Recently been on the fence about getting the HD DVD player, so out of curiosity I called my nearest Sam's Club to check out the price on it (I'm in DC, so the nearest one is in Waldorf, MD). The guy in electronics told me that although they still have them in-store for $189, they have supposedly been waiting on a price drop down to around $70-80 that never took place. He told me that a MS rep even came in looking for the drives, and that some places on the west coast have already dropped their drives down to those prices. Can anyone confirm this?
