My Xbox is pre-HDMI, so that isn't an option. But I do have a VGA cable that I used with my old 23" samsung.


So I just want to know which cable would be better for my TV? I'm currently using component because I get access to more controls with that (ie, game mode). Would it be better to go VGA and forego game mode and the few other controls? Thanks!

Use VGA.


This will allow you to use 1080p for DVDs and the HDDVD player (if you have it).


Over component, the 360 only outputs 480p (DVD) and 1080i (HDDVD).

I have an S350 for my BRs and DVDs.

component should be fine then. No benefit at all, if you are not gonna use it for hd dvd.
