360 VGA output without an VGA input display?

426 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  govschmo
Well I have an older LCD and it doesn't have a VGA port. So is there an adaptor that would allow me to run VGA from the 360 to my HDMI or Component inputs?

I will need to have upconversion when the HD-DVD add-on is released next month. But I can't afford to buy another display just yet. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. GO HD-DVD!

Forget it. If you can't afford a new display, then you won't want to spend the money it takes to buy a decent transcoder. Just use the component connections. You will still be able to watch HD DVD in HD through those, just not get your DVD's upconverted.

That sucks. Oh well.
Forum sponsors in the links above sell them. My luck with transcoders is hit-or-miss, they work well or don't.
