Has anyone compared the 2 yet directly to confirm they are the same? I know the DCDI chip is the same as is the MPEG decoder, however is the resulting picture the same (HDMI and DVI only not interested in analog differences)?




I went with the 2910 and love it............is the grass greener......


I sure like the 3910 build quality over the 2910.

No, both have a little green push. LOL


I suspect it will be like the 2200 and 2900 relationship. Very little if any video difference but big audio improvements.

Not funny, on some scenes I think I am seeing a green push (i keep second guessing myself thinking that this board is making me see things). It is one of the reasons I am thinking about it. i am buying a 3910 today to see if it is any better.


Another problem I am having with the 2910 is that it is not loading discs reliably......only about 80% of the time. My 2900 never had a single problem, once again hoping the 3910 is better in this catagory since I havent seen a complaint yet. about loading
