Topic pretty much says it all. I wasn't able to find any answers after a quick search so I apologize if this has been asked 100+ times. I am finishing my basement into a dedicated space and have caught interest in the SEOS DIY options to upgrade my current Polk Monitor lineup. I see many users going with matching Tempests across the front, while others opt for Tempest/Alchemy MTM/Tempest route. Pros? Cons? I plan to start here and eventually upgrade surrounds to 4x Alchemy when the funds are available. Any advice is greatly accepted and appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Its any easy question to answer. If you have the room and the budget get three tempests . If you don't have the room or budget then the other path. I don't have room in my living room for vertical tempest . I have the alchemy mtm and its very good , but 3 identical l , c , r are optimum .

It's always best to go with 3 identical speakers for your LCR's, but, if you can't fit a third Tempest then the Alchemy would be just fine.
