Absolutely. I added an amp to my Denon AVR mainly because it's built like a high quality tank and it does my heart good to see it sitting there in the rack. On rare occasions where I'm listening to music more loudly than I should it might come in handy with it's extra power, but 99% of the time it's there for looks. I'm also using Diva speakers; they're not terribly hard to drive.


How's that for honest?

I wish I had the good sense to just get a 3802 to drive my Divas. :D

I use 3802 with my 4.1/C3/R3 + Axiom QS4 speakers nad have no problems. It easily drives everything as loud as I need in an apartment.
