[The Furious One]

I'm looking for about 20' to 25' of at least 14ga 4 conductor wire with a white jacket. All I can find is 100' spools. I don't need that much, and it is really more than I want to spend! Anyone have some insight?

All I found was some stuff in a gray or orange jacket at Lowes. I don't have a Home Depot near me.

hmmm... the next place i'd try is an electrical supply shop... the more "mom and pop", the better... those places tend to have stuff lying around...

100 feet on monoprice isn't too bad. maybe wasteful though

I checked another Lowes, and a Menards last night. They only had 2 choices for 4 conductor stuff. One was 20ga. stranded and the other was 14ga. solid core. The solid core would have been all right if I were using it in the front, but this is for my surrounds and it has to be pliable enough to make some turns etc.. There is a local place that carries some wire, but IIRC, they had a very limited selection.

It's starting to look like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and pay the $50 from monoprice. I won't use anywhere near that much, but at least I'll have extra I guess!
