Your cabinet is going to block any ambient light on the sides. I have a 47" tv and used 1 stick on each of the 4 sides of my tv here. Pictures in the dark always come out worse looking than actual:

4 LED light kit and a 65" TV
I ordered the 4 bar kit after I read that 6 lights may reach full effect. Judging by the photos below, you think It will look good with 2 bars on top and 1 on each side ?? The lights are 1 foot long each. Where I plan to mount the lights are 18" from the wall.
