2) DAYTON 10" 100 WATT POWERED SUBWOOFER

3) Jensen $40 center channel

4) 4 cheap KLH bookshelf speakers.

i want to replace the 4 speakers with smaller, better ones.

but i have a $100-150 budget FOR ALL FOUR!

i am also getting a Panny 37in EDTV Plasma.

Don't waste you money on cheap junk. Wait until you have at least $500 and then get TWO good speakers. Build the rest of your system around that as funds permit. There is no sense in just buying more junk and never ending up with anything worth while. Do it right man, you won't be disappointed.

Good luck with this, and welcome to the fourm.
It will be hard to get much for under $150. You could pick up 2 pr of JBL N24 speakers for just over a hundred on E-Bay and some E-tailers. These were over $200 per pair new. 4" woofer and 3/4" titanium laminate tweeter. Check out the review on Audioreview. Since you have the Dayton sub which goes down to 25hz, they would work. In fact you could pick up the matching N center on E-Bay for $50 or so as well to give you a perfectly matched set. This was sold as the NSP 1 set and sold for over $500 not too long ago.

is this a good deal?

3-way Omni Audio SA12.3 speakers in black wood cabinet. Original retail price was $1,200 when they were bought 7 years ago. Still in excellent condition, not even a scratch. Audiophile quality speakers will seriously upgrade your stereo system. 15-200 Watts Power Handling , 8 ohms Nominal Impedance, 13 mm tweeter, 5 1/4" midrange, 12" polypropylene cone woofer. Dimensions: 27"H X 15"W X 10"D.
If your location allows installation of in ceiling or in-wall speakers, check out the AudioSource speakers on Amazon.com. You can get 2 pairs of 5" in-ceiling speakers for less than $80 or 2 pairs of 8" in-ceiling speakers for less than $150, though two pairs of 6" models for about $110 may be the best fit for your application.

This way, speakers will not distract from the look of your plasma...

You're not going to get GOOD speakers for $25, at least by my definition. I don't think I want to enter your world.

Not for $25, but for 150 to 200, consider the JBL speakers I mentioned, you would have a serviceable set-up.

C'mon cut the guy some slack!

Since you already have 4 speakers save yourself $145. Spend $5 at Home Depot for the can of Krylon spray paint that matches your decor and you will be a HERO in your world.
