Can anyone recommend a 4-way VGA switch for HDTV? A passive manual one would be fine, as long as it will pass 1080i.

Any VGA switchbox will pass 1080i. I use a Linksys switchbox, but am looking for another one with a serial port for control to use with Dean Roddey's CQC control software. Extron, Altinex are a couple of higher quality names. Do a search on this forum and you will get many hits on VGA switchboxes.

I am using the recently-introduced Belkin OmniView E Series 4-Port KVM Switch (Part# F1DB104P). I ordered it from Page Computer along with the power adapter for $85 including shipping. The power adapter (Part# F1D065-PWR) is required only if the switch is not connected to a computer's keyboard port.

It has a video bandwidth of 400MHz which is more than enough for 1080i. The picture quality is excellent.

One advantage of using a KVM switch is than you have the option of using a keyboard (possibly cordless) to select any of the four VGA ports.
