Up for sale is a complete ACTIVE Danley Sound Labs/ Seaton/JTR theater System.


Includes:


3 Full Active Tri-Amped Danley SH-100B Mains, Zebrawood finish.

4 Full Active Bi-Amped Danley SH-100 Surrounds. Zebrawood Finish.

3 Custom built JTR/Seaton Sound Subwoofers...these are essentially Seaton Terraforms with a front firing planform. Mark Seaton Engineered them, Jeff Parmenian built them. These are the only three ever built.

1 Face Audio F-2000TX Class A/B Touring Grade 1.5 KW/Ch Amp...the original big beast, not the light/cheap second generation one.

1 Face Audio F-700TX Amp, bridged to 1.5 KW


Original price on this system was approximately $40,000 with freight. Danley is rarely sold used, but a fully tonally matched, full active Danley System in a nice finish with Seaton Designed Subs is ultra ultra rare. Reason for sale...Got Divorced and the 1000 Sq. Ft building housing this system is being remodeled into a rental property. There is no way this system will fit into the main house, so a smaller system will be obtained. Shipping shall be the responsibility of the buyer.


To answer the most frequent question...yes, I will separate. The mains would need to be sold as a TRIO for $7500. The SH-100's are available for $2000/pr. The Subs would be $1000 each.

To answer some of the deluge of questions...


Location is Bellingham, WA. Just south of the US/Canada border.


Age of the system is approximately 3 years.


Subs...several questions on whether I would sell them separately...at this point I am going to keep it as as system if somebody wants to purchase a complete package.

If there is interest in just the speaker system, then obviously the subs can then go separately.


No, the system has never been used for live sound. No, the system has never been overdriven (what are you KIDDING! I value my hearing!)


Yes, it is a 100% smoke free theater.


Yes, I do have the original boxes/packing for the speakers. The massive subs came on pallets and they will have to be palletized or shipped blanket wrap.


Note: The system is also posted on the Seattle Craigslist and I have a number of inquiries from there too.

Okay...so here are the dimensions as requested...


Mains: 20 3/4" wide x 33 1/2" tall x 19 /18" deep. Approx 175 lbs each.

Subs. 31" wide, 40" tall, 24" deep. Approx 225 lbs each.

Surrounds, 24" x 24" x 8".


I made a mistake in the original ad...the finish is Zebrawood. Pictures are posted above.

Also, there *is* a scratch on the bottom of one of the speakers where it appears something got underneath the speaker as it was being moved on the shelf.

Last but not least...and this should have been included in the original ad...the surrounds are NEW in the box. Had passive ones in there which I sold prior to the divorce, intending to finally hook up

the actives. One was opened to make sure the finish was correct but they have never been out of the boxes.

One other item...

The F-2000TX subwoofer amp is wired for a 30 amp dedicated line. It can be easily changed back over to a 20 amp plug if you wish.
