I'd been looking at the Hit 51S500, but decided I must stay in the 42-46" range, due to viewing distance (5-7 feet) and source materials (still a good bit of SD)

Going to be purchasing in the next couple weeks.

My understanding is the Hit F series is not quite as nice as the S, but that is all that's available in the sub 50" size.


Considering a Tosh 42HX83 or 46HX83, or Mits 42413, or ???


Also, I'm still wondering what the best way to output signal will be, from an ATI 8500AIW with MyHD100. I initally planned to do the pass through thing, and use the ATI dongle.

Depending on the TV, is there a way to use the DVI for the ATI and maybe the component for the MyHD? Any suggestions welcome!

I was in a similar position. Actually ordered the Panny 50" for our bedroom. Decided I would rather stay married, and the wife was right - 50" was just too big for the bedroom.


I preordered the Sony 42WE610 - and hope that it's a keeper.
