I ordered a 42 Fujitsu HD plasam to be installed in my bedroom system. My dealer called and offered me a much more expensive 42 Loewe HD plasma for about the same money stating he got a great deal on 6 Loewe plasma's. I went to his store and looked at the Loewe and it looked awesome. Plus it seemed to look better on dvd and standard TV than the Fujitsu but the comparison was in totally differant rooms and was really hard to tell. The Loewe from the specs did not have as good contrast ratio but you can never rely on manufacture truth in specs but the Loewe does have some trick electronics to make standard TV much better it seems. The blacks on the Loewe seemed to look real black to me so who really knows huh?

I went ahead and swapped out for the Loewe but after looking around on this and other websites I could find virutally nothing about Loewe. So if you had the choice between a Loewe or fujitsu 42 HD plasma which would you pick? I theater equipment install and bedroom systems goes in this Monday!

I personally have not seen the alternative choice. However, the Fujitsu is pretty hard to beat in my opinion.

Yes, they are both great set's. My wife just found the Loewe on line for 4500-5000! WOW! Man, I am torn and do not know what to do. The Loewe is cool though and the Fujitsu is well known.
