Hello all,

Well I came home with the samsung yesterday and am pretty satisfied with it but one thing that keeps running through my mind is blu ray and 1080, so I believe the LG is the way i'm going to go.

I have a Sony Vaio on the way that has blu ray support and the only thing i'll use this t.v. for is

-movies

-computer monitor (streaming only, not primary)

-videogames (360, ps3, etc)

I'm into really sharp images and my only two concerns is that the LG will not be able to look as sharp as the Samsung plasma and the 60hz on the LCD vs the 600hz on the plasma. Will i suffer from motion blur?

Also, whenever I plug in my 360 it says 1080p/60hz, so does that mean that the 600hz is meaningless?

LG:

Samsung: PN42B450B1D

600hz is the subfield drive update speed, has nothing to do with the input frame rate

plasma will be better with motion vs a 60hz and even most 120hz LCD TV's

it has to do with how plasma works vs LCD

just do not leave a static image on the plasma for longer than a few hours and you will love your plasma. burn in is the only real problem they have but it takes some abuse to make permanent burn in happen (leave a video game on the TV for a few days or watch the same news channel so much that their ticker bar gets burned in to the screen etc.

hey guys, i need help between these 2 TVs, I just can't decide which one to get. I saw these 2 at BB and they're virtually the same imagewise. Samsung plasma is only $25 more, my question is which of these 2 is more reliable? Thanks
