Does anyone know if the 360 will output 44.1kHz audio from a CD over the digital output, or will it "upconvert" it to 48kHz?
I am asking because I need to update my home theatre receiver, and the only way to do it is by burning the firmware wav onto a CD as an audio CD, and plying it into the receiver via optical of coax audio input. I tried my blu-ray player, but it did not work, apparently because it was spitting out 48kHz. So dos the 360 do 44.1? If so, is it default, or is there something i need to set?
Otherwise I will need to find an authorized dealer in my town to do it...
