I can't speak as to the quality of either cable, but at that length I say consider going for the bjc.

But either way you go if you're running in wall, make sure to test it 100% before closing things up to make sure there's no intermittent problems (dropouts, etc). Even better would be to run a conduit if you can, that way if you have problems you don't have to cut your wall open again.

it is not going in wall, but I am in Canada and don't want to be shipping back and forth til something works. I want to be sure it will work first shot.

Then get the best. The best is the BJC.

It's very likely the monoprice would be fine, but if you want to be as sure as possible, then at this distance...

The BJC is still extremely cheap, relative to store-bought cabling at those lengths.

I've replaced $1,500 cabling with the BJC to fix problems before.

I am in need of changing my theater room and will need to go just under 70' from my blu ray player pioneer 51fd to my older sony 51a projector. I too am considering the Blu Jeans hdmi. Has anyone else used this cable for this length?

I just got my projector up and running yesterday. The BJC series 1 worked flawlessly through a monoprice 1 X 2 powered splitter at 1080p at 45' (could have gotten away with 40'
). From what I have researched, the BJC is the best passive HDMI cable you can buy. It is very thick though.
