First off I've been reading this forum a lot recently as I sat on the fence on replacing my 36" Panny with a wide screen. After deliberating on the +/- of LCD/DLP/CRT I've decided to go with CRT.
Question 1:
My decision is narrowed now to the Panny X54 but I've just seen a sale price for last year's Hit 46F500 for the same price as the Panny 47X54 (and the Hit comes with the stand). From reading here am I correct to believe that the X54 and the F510 are comparable but the F500 is not in the same arena as the X54 making this deal not so much of a good deal?
Question 2:
I'm sitting aprox 9' from my 36" tube now, is a 46/47 the prefered choice over the 51/53 at this distance?
