I have an old Mits rp TV which takes 1080i from component inputs, no hdmi. I run my sd DVD player thru the iscan HD to upconvert to 1080i. I just got a Blu Ray player. Should I let the new player deinterlace to 480p or just have it send the 480i to the iscan for deinterlacing and scaling? Does the old iscanHD do a better job of deinterlacing than the new sony blu-ray player?
