480P Help Please!

I have my Sony DVD player hooked up to my Mitsubishi WT-46809. When I turn on progressive scan, the picture is not centered; it is moved up and over to the right. When I turn off PS, then the picture is centered, but not as good quality. This is driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

Your tv might need to be calibrated.
