Hi,

I am still in the midst of deciding on a receiver (everything leaning toward the 49tx) I have two subs right now, both velodyne, the older one a 12 inch sub with no adjustments on it besides volume. The newer one has cross-over adj + phase and so on. When both of these are hooked up to the 49tx and Macc is used, will it adjust the bass as best as it can and I habe to just set the volume on sub to 5 (for example) on one and keep phase at 90 on other. How is the setup in my particular case done. I dont think macc will display a smg that says please set phase at or adj x-over.Can someone inform me how macc handles this setup and how the overall setup process for my two subs should be handled if I get the 49tx (ie use macc for one sub then add other )

Thanks,

Pete

I am trying to clear up all this confusion I have regarding sub setup. Never have been able to get it right, hoping MAcc will simplify this aspect.

Unless your speakers are connected to your subs, turn your crossover frequencies to max (cause the receiver will do the crossover if your speakers aren't full size).

I doubt MCACC will figure out phase, but I doubt the subs will need to be out of phase unless they're firing outward and toward eachother.

The manual says (if I remember right) just set the sub volume to 1/2 way and let it rip.
