Hey guys,


Quick check. Is the 4gig file size limitation only when using an external USB harddrive due to the FAT32 filesystem? Or are files on the actualy PS3 harddrive limited to this as well?

yes - only external hd w/ fat32. you can have larger file sizes on actual ps3 hd

You can always compress the file into many smaller parts to transfer onto the external HDD and then decompress them when on the external HDD.
