I am thinking of entering the 4k resolution world, but could not find information about native resolutions for the JVCs x900, x700 and x500 series. Are they true 4k native? What about de X95, X75 and X55? Project Central says all of them has 1080p native resolution. Including the x900. Are they right? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answer, but that article only explains e-shift2. What about the x900 (e-shift3)? In JVC website it says:

New 4K e-shift3 provides 3840x2160 projected image

New Native 4K HDMI inputs that accept

3840x2160 at 24P, 25P, 30P and 60P

4096x2160 at 24P

If that is not 4k native, then it is false advertising.

eshift 3 is identical other than it accepts a native 4K input (of varying resolutions/frame rates/color depths) instead of just 1080p. It then takes that 4K signal and extracts two 1080p frames to flash offset to trick your eye into seeing 4K. It is still not a native 4K device as it lacks a native 4K imaging chip.
