5 channel amplifier

I'm toying with the idea of doing AC3/DTS decoding and DRC on my HTPC, so most of the features of the receiver I'm using now (Pioneer vsx-906rds) would be useless to me and it lacks direct line level inputs for the 5 channels.

What I'd really like is a 5 channel amplifier with about 3x100w RMS for the front channels and 2x40w for the surrounds.

I don't want any video/input switching, ac3 decoding, dsp or las vegas style displays.

Does such a thing exist?

I was considering getting 3 cheap ass PA amps, but I'm worried that they will be too poor quality for HT use.

you must have missed the following thread that discusses using professional amps for home theater

any of the amps listed in the above thread will do a great job in a home theater..... your HTPC will be much more of a weak link in the signal chain than any of the pro amps in that thread

Well, it's all digital so as long as the math is correct there is no signal path:)

I'm planning on using this http://www.audiotrak.net/mayaex5.htm for a DAC so at least the analog signal will be far outside the pc and the cables can be short, time will tell wether it will need to be modded, but it sounds quite solid out of the box: http://short-media.com/review.php?r=251&p=1
