$50 for about half hour of AV consult

Hi, blowing my mind trying to figure out how new HDR and Atmos can work over new system I'm considering. My current thought is Samsung Q70R, Marantz SR6014 (could you compare to the SR7013?), HTPC and some setup of Atmos speakers. I want to know how all this gets connected so HDR 10 actually works, Atmos actually works, essentially that what I'm paying a lot extra for will actually work. I'd expect you would know about this gear, how it needs to connect to maximize it's performance and possibly some options. If you really know this stuff and are interested let me know. If 50 honestly doesn't seem reasonable let me know what you think would be fair and your background. I'll Paypal the money if that works and we can just chat on the phone, think it wouldn't take more that half an hour or so. Thanks for reading.

No need to pay for that. Just explain your situation and hopefully you will get the answers to your questions free of charge (though it may lead to spending more money on gear as you learn more). :)

Like the member above said, nobody should be charging you for that information. I know plenty about those two products. Let's start with your connections, are you running earc from hdmi out to earc in on your samsung tv? Also on that reciever in the manual it will show the dts modes which include atmos if I'm not mistaken. Happy to walk through it with you.
