I'll have (4) of their 18" subs and (1) of the 32" subs in my Lab. Along with 30+ other speakers from them.

can't wait to see the video of that experiment!I'll have (4) of their 18" subs and (1) of the 32" subs in my Lab. Along with 30+ other speakers from them.![]()
Same at CEDIA 2019. But if it had been on the entire area would have had to be evacuated to avoid mass tinnitus! It never played in the ISE 'demo' it was just an attention grabber at the company's ISE stand, in the always less traffic side hall extension to Hall 5 with mostly audio gear. So i have seen it a couple of times, but never heared it. Let alone felt it.
Photos, [email protected]@@ Rock away!Currently rocking 16 18" subs in my theater, wonder how far away from this 50" I am.
One thing I've learned is that claimed response and actual response, especially in my theater, are two very different things.
They have the 50" in their demo room in Ansbach. Might be worth to give them a call.It never played in the ISE 'demo' it was just an attention grabber at the company's ISE stand, in the always less traffic side hall extension to Hall 5 with mostly audio gear. So i have seen it a couple of times, but never heared it. Let alone felt it.
What is the price of that? The 50 SUB PRO ACTIVE SEALED

That is a long list. Nice.If they ship it by boat the freight might be 4 grand lol. I will get the US list price. The KyD solution is somewhat custom, I doubt it can do 120hz at 7 hz in a medium theater with just one unit. Giving credit where it is due it was Bruce Thigpen inventor of the rotary subwoofer who first compiled a list of blurays with content 1-20hz. (2011)

What is directional concussive surround midbass?I see but if you are building custom the TRW may be the most efficient way to get a high output in the 1-20. A well-engineered manifold neutralizes the fan noise. Although I remember K saying it presented a challenge.
The below diagram was specified at 125db at 1 hz!

To complicate matters more once you go below 20 you need crazy decibels as it is not linear to over 20, (we are desensitized the closer it gets to DC) to get the full effect, I am very familiar with a 7 Hz tone signal at 115db it was cool... I will discuss this specific aspect with Ascendo to see what they can get. I will also catch up with Bruce. I love ULF, ULF and directional concussive surround Midbass are my favs.... Too often regular bass managed LFE masks the latter, a crime against immersion.
Some nice test tone DVD files...
