Ive gotten so much help from this forum.Honestly I dont trust the salesmen as much as you guys..

Ive got all my cables on order saved a whole bunch(mono). My projector will be the infocus sp8602 .

My room is 15 feet by 21 feet..Everything will be running via hdmi..I wont listen to music that much at all this is basically 90 % movies and 2 % music other 8%.

My speaker budget is basically to stay under $2500 that includes centre 2 fronts and 2 rears..

I need a receiver has to under $800.00 definately want one that controls the volume when the commercials come on ( possible denon 2310)..... Value curve is important for the speakers I spent a lot on polks in another room not as impressed...So IM setting up another theatre room and leaving that one for the wife and kids and creating my own private space.....

For subs any decent sub will do as long its not down firing.

( best bang for the buck)..

Since the infocus sp 8602 doesnt come in till late september or early october I have some time...

Receiver
Speakers
Any reasonable sub ..

Everything hdmi mostly watching movies...

I am very close to you in the budget. I am doing a 3 room setup so had a little more to spend on the receiver. I went with the SC-07 which could be had just a tad over your budget. It adds component out for Zone 2 which was big for me - now it adds that over the SC-05. So if I were you I would look at the SC-05 for receiver

You can get a great value with internet direct companies. With that budget you can get a MTS-01 system f rom SVS. Aperion , Axiom , and Emotiva all have multiple packages at around that price point. Depending on your subwoofer budget, you might spend more on the subs and less on your speakers. That may end up giving you a more impressive system overall. For packages in that direction, check out Elemental Designs , HSU Research , and SVS. For subwoofers alone, check out Rythmik and Epik Subwoofers .

For receivers, I would check out Accessories4less , they have fantastic deals, especially on refurbished receivers.

Whatever you get, let us know how it sounds, with that budget you should end up with something really kick-ass, and I'd love to hear about it.

Not sure if you're looking for a tower or bookshelf setup but I picked the Sierra-1's up this week. Add a good sub and you're in business.

They are right in line with your budget. Not sure how the Denon 2310 you mentioned would power them. You might have to shoot the owner of Ascend Acoustics an email and ask-which is what I did.

If you shop around could get a decent Klipsch setup for under $2,500 I wouldn't buy a klipsch subwoofer because better performance to value out there. I have a complete RF-52 setup myself and part of a RF-83 setup put together.

Elemental Designs is now building there own speakers and offer a decent package discount(15%). Their subs have very good performance.

Emotiva also has some speaker sets might be worth looking at.

I have purchased two elemental design subs for a DIY system and been very happy with it.

I tried to order the RC70's from Vann's and they only have one left and don't plan on getting any more. They're a good price because of the cherry finish and they were just looking to unload them. They said it was the same scenario for the center channel energy C series speaker. If you go with the black cabinet it is double and they said they don't expect a sale.

That is awesome...you are my hero. I tried to get them from Vann's a couple days ago and when they told me they were out I gave myself a good butt kicking for waiting too long. Any theories where I can get a RC-LCR center to match?

I tried out the klipsch speakers..IM gonna listen paradigm tomorrow.

Since Im only going to use the speakers for movies would couple of subs and using all bookshelf speakers give me a superior sound...SInce its only for movies I have towers in another room for music listening..

If yes what are the best bookshelf speakers something better or comparable to cinema 300 paradigms..Paradigms also have the built in wall sub woofers is it a downgrade for in wall subs as comapared to floor standing..
