I picked up some RTi150s on closeout for ~$520 for the pair and now need a receiver to drive them and a budget of $500-600. I'd go a bit more if I needed to as I plan to keep this system for a long time, but I am a college student with limits :)

(also might be driving a polk CSi30/40 center and FXi30 rears, haven't bought them yet, stereo might be enough for my apartment)

A couple models I have been looking over and researching a bit are the:

Onkyo 601 (reccommended by a sales guy)

Denon AVR-1082 (seems to have good power for price)

What I am looking for in my receiver (and what I don't need):

-good amount of power. the RTi150s can take a lot, it will be fun to blast them a bit :) (would have opted for the RTi70s except that for a mere $100 more, I got the pair of 150s)

-5.1 channels is good enough for me ( though i wont rule out more. just won't need them any time soon)

-don't need lots of fancy options or 2nd zones.

Basically want something high quality (for the price range) with power, don't mind simple. I'll estimate 50/50 movies and music.
