just bought 4x ELT525M Mini Monitor, ELT525C Center and MFW-15 Subwoofer

MFW-15 Subwoofer from av123.

i am looking for a receiver to push these speakers and i have a $500 max, shipped to my door limit.

i need hdmi 1.3, 2nd room capability for later and all the up to date goodies.


what would you guys suggest?


also, if you have some good wall mount suggestions for the speakers that would be great.

i'm in the same boat as you. Marantz SR4003, HK AVR-254, Onkyo TX-SR606, or Yamaha RX-V663 are the ones i'm looking at, Marantz assuming there are no/limited handshaking issues streaming decoded lossless formats to it. Otherwise I'll get one of the other 3, leaning HK right now. Most likely paired to a Panny BD-35

well i'd have a pio over all of the above except maybe marantz as far as sq goes, but with the feature list of the pio i'd have to say that it's probably the best choice, thanks.

Refurbished Onkyo TX-SR805. Definitely a step up from the other receivers listed so far and you can get it for under 5 bills.

Two people where I work got TX-SR606s from them. Didn't have a problem.
