I have had my replaytv 5080 for 5 months and have been very satisfied. 2 days ago the unit stopped working. It keeps rebooting automatically everytime it gets past the welcome to replay tv. I cannot access the replay guide or channel guide. What is going on and how can I get this fixed? I have a lifetime subscription and my 90 day warranty is expired. What will this cost me to get this fixed?

According to SB's old warranty printed in your manual you'll find that all the parts are covered for 1 year. The 90 days is parts and labor, so basically you'll just be paying labor. HOWEVER, I just RMAd my unit last Thursday and the guy I talked to stated that it didnt matter if my unit was in its 90 days or not (even though it was), they'd just send out a new one.


You might wanna give them a call, they very possibly could just give you another...
