5504 continuous reboot

My 5504 is less about 10 months old and now continuously reboots itself :( . It started last night when I went into the setup menu while it was recording. From past experience this was a "bad thing to do" - it has locked up before when I went into the setup menu while it was recording. This time a reboot doesn't help. It goes to the point where it is about to display the currently tuned channel and goes blank and reboots. By disconnecting the inputs I can get it to display the "no video" instead and can play recorded shows and go into and out of the setup - even lets me force a connect and that seems to go OK. But as soon as I plug in the selected input and it detects video it goes into reboot again :( . Any clues as to the problem? Is there a way to force it to reload the OS? Thanks!

Sounds suspiciously like the drive is full. With the input unhooked, boot up and delete a recorded show or two, then plug the input in. What happens then?
Yep I figured that out by myself. I noticed that it said that there was less than one minute free and that the one hour show it was recording last night when it locked up took up nine hours and six minutes of space! I first deleted a 30 minute show and it still said less than one minute free so I deleted a one hour show and it now says 53 minutes free. I hooked the inputs back up and it seems OK now. Good software or what? ;)
