60" samsung dlp vs 50" plasma pioneer

I just got the 60" samsung and now debating about downsizing to a smaller set but better quality. Is it worth is to get something smaller but better quality or just stick with the bigger set.

What is your viewing distance?

Do you think the set is too big just when watching either SD and True HD programs (Those received over your digital cable souce that are "filmed" with HD cameras and not "SD" cameras?
