I just got back from PC Richards in Setauket and they had a 56" (I believe) Toshiba DLP set next to a Sony A10 series set. Both sets were running a Direct TV HD feed. The sets are setup as they come out of the box so I don't know if this is an adjustment thing but the Toshiba looked way better then the Sony. The Toshiba had better contrast, whites were whiter, picture was brighter and overall the picture snapped more off the screen. Up to this point the Sony was equal if not better than any other DLP or LCD set I saw. I was wondering what you guys thought of the new Toshiba's compared to the Sony? Does the Toshiba have a sweet spot like the older CRT's or is it evenly llit like a LCD?
