601s or the NEW 601s

Aloha gang,

I'm in need of some rear speakers and am wondering whether i should

A) get the new 6 series' 601 when they come out in a month or so

or

B) get the current version of 601s now

or

C) do you think the existing 601s will have a significant price drop when the new ones come out

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

btw, i have 705s as my front left rite (will get a 7series center channel) and i have SVS PB10NSD sub powered by a pioneer elite 84tsxi.

I can't comment on anything else, but my dealer already discounted and sold his 601s. None left, they're done. I'd be surprised if other dealers weren't doing the same thing.

601s are cheap so unless u get a 25%+ discount, why not wait for the new ones? No reason to not get the new ones unless ur saving atleast $100. personally i would wait...

Hang on a little longer and listen to the new ones and see what the bottom line price on the old ones will be, but don't expect it too soon.
