The 607CMX is meant for the home theater enthuastist that wants something better than average as the 607CMX can be updated and ISF calibraded. The 6070HD does not have these options.

There is a reason why one is considered a consumer version the 6070, it is out of the box ready and is very highly rated you can verify that by doing a search up top. The professional version is just a display and is still a great product if you want to mess around with purchasing extra cards and accessories. Its a matter of opinion so we do recommend doing a search up and and you are definitely in the right place.

I have to say that I can not settle for ordinary. I have to have the best of the best for just a litttle more cash.

I would rather add a few parts and play, than settle for oridary on any day.


In most cases anyone can set up the 607CMX, it is not rocket science. The best of the best will be achieved, in the Pioneer line, with Pioneer Elite or the 607CMX. No question. 6070HD cannot be calibrated !! Being custom installers and networking with other installers this is fact.

A little more cash? I find that hard to believe since I am direct for both lines and authorized for both and can tell you that a few grand plus adding the few parts is not a little cash for the difference if there is any.

Great this thread has turned into two Pioneer dealers bickering. Can we get back into the real meat of the thread? I was finding Chris's information regarding difference and what is available very interesting.


Maybe Chris can get the parts less then what you can Roman? Who cares, to Chris, if that is a small price to pay for the differences then that is his choice, to you it might be to much.

Done, the bottom line is both are amazing displays and there is no one else I would rather bicker with than Chris.
