Anybody have a discrete on code?

I got the HTM-800 and tried some of the other Hitachi codes, but the on code not only turns the TV on, but gives me an all white picture, the TV remote does not do this.

A CCF file or mxd file would do fine.

Opps, forget it, the "on" code works. It is just that you have to wait a while before using it to turn the TV on after turning it off, otherwise you get a whit screen.

I don't have a remote with the discrete on/off codes preprogrammed for the Hitachi 50v500. Is there a way to get this code from the supplied remote in order to program a learning remote?

Cheers

This is what they sent me after an inquiry:

I have not had a chance to try either yet.

Can this be programmed directly into a Marantz RC2000 Mark II? I don't think most "learning" remotes can accept hex entry of commands.

Is that PC programable? The MX800 will let you open a ccf file and move a learned code to a key. There are freeware programs that let you convert hex to ccf.

Try www.remotecentral.com for more info. I am no expert on this subject yet.
