6800 Ultra PCI-e OR X850XT PE
I am building a HT and gaming PC. My first and foremost concern is DVD playback quaility. I will hook one DVI port to a 20" LCD panel, which I will use for gaming, and the second DVI port to my BenQ PE8700 DLP projector for DVD playback.
My LCD monitor will be running a screen resolution of 1680x1050 while the projector will be at 1280x720. I know I can run independant resolutions using NVIDIA, but wasn't sure about the ATI card. I plan to run MS MCE2005.
Does ATI or NVIDIA cards do a better job of high quality DVD playback?
