You guys who don't like upconverted films because they are not true HD. check the 6th Day picture quality, you might change your opinion. Sat. 8:30 E.T. I see it on a Pro 895X, 80"X45", 16:9 screen,P.Q. looks great.

I've seen this movie before on Showtime HD and I was impressed with the

picture quality and sound. My favorite scene is at the beginning of the movie when they're racing the remote controlled helicopters.

From my experience, Showtime's upconverts can range from stunning

(Dracula 2000, Scary Movie) to very disappointing (Crimson Tide). It really seems to be a mixed bag; however, given the overall lack of HD programming, I'll take an upconvert over SD.

Anybody else experience sporadic audio synch problems?

I thought it was a good upconvert. I enjoyed the movie also, although by the end I really wasn't sure which Ahnald was really Ahnald.

No audio or video problems here.

I kept switching back between this movie and Shrek (HBO HD). After a

few minutes it became apparent that this movie was an upconvert compared to (HBO's words) "true HD."
