I have two Polk psw10 and 2 pioneer tower as well as the matching pioneer center.  My setup is in an indented wall in my living room about 9 feet wide 3 feet deep I have a 70 inch mounted and a TV stand about 5 feet wide in middle of the wall. Question is where should I place the subs and towers currently have each subs backed up against rear wall and the TV stand facing away from TV stand about 2 feet from wall and a tower speaker in front of it facing seating area on each side. Is there a better way to place speakers ?

Subs need to be placed were they cover the seating area while nullifying the most room mods. An easy way is to use the sub crawl method. Your mains and center look about right. You can go here and see recommended speaker placement.

Also your TV is a little high unless you watch standing up or on a tall bar stool. You level eye line of sight should hit a little below the center line of the TV. Yours looks to be below the bottom.
