These seven tracks will highlight a system's speed and dynamics.

Paul Scarpelli, director of sales and marketing for Triad speakers, provides the tracks for this roundup.

Paul is a seasoned drummer himself (Shadows of Knight, Sam the Sham) who beginning playing again after 20 years off.

Here are 7 Awesome Drum Demos.

"Double Up" by Dave Weckl from the album "Perpetual Motion"

Weckl includes Latin funk into traditional jazz drummer as well as anyone. On this cut he has some very intricate work by kicking the ensemble's accents hard.

His drums have great articulation to show off his complex, technical style, and his drums don't have lots of body or depth. Dave's work with Chick Corea is probably his best.

"If I Should Lose You" from the album "With All My Heart" by Harvey Mason

This entire CD is consistent in quality in both fidelity and playing. As far as studio recordings of piano trios rank, this is the best.

Harvey Mason is the star here, but sidemen include jazz luminaries Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Hank Jones, Cedar Walton, Charlie Haden, Dave Grusin, and many other heavyweights.
