Following the hint gave by Bob William regarding the CW changing speed with PAL material i tested 50 Hz with DVI. Radeon9700 pro with CAT 3.2 and Powerstrip, changing the refresh rate to 50 Hz clearly changes the CW speed, that did not occur on 75 HZ (which also gave some tearing artifacts). With 50 Hz pans are just perfect, a quick comparision with 60Hz shows that at 60 there is like a stroboscopic effect which disappears completely at 50 Hz. I can do that on DVI only, testing 50Hz VGA on a Radeon 8500 kicks the scaler in and the native mapping is lost. I did not try the 9700 on VGA yet.

Reclock works perfectly now on PAL movies.

Pal Users of the 7200 in DVI should definitely try this.

I forgot to say that the random red pixels on dvi have completely disappeared @50Hz. After a full testing i can say it's a huge improvement, i finally saw smooth pans on the begininng of the podrace chapter in EP1.
