I have had this TV since Sunday and it has worked great. Tonight the wife comes home and turns it on only to see vertical lines of dots all over the screen. The TV worked fine last night during the debates.


The lines run from the top to the bottom and are spread out about 3-4 inches apart all the way across the screen. The dots themselves are very small and it almost looks like vertical lines of rain drops. Have tried different inputs, turning the power on and off and resetting the convergence and color.


Anybody care to take a guess???

Have you tried actually resetting the TV? There is a small hole marked "system reset" on the front panel. Stick a paper clip in there to perform the reset. I hope that works for you.

Yeah, I tried that and the dots disappeared, however the next time I tried turning on the tv they reappeared. I tried the reset again and it did not work. A tech is coming out next weekend hopefully.
