77A9G or 65A90J

Normally I do months of research on a tv and wait for a good price before purchasing. My 14 yr old managed to break the panel on my A8F about an hour ago and I need to replace it ASAP. To say I'm having trouble thinking clearly is probably an understatement so I'm throwing myself on the pity of you guys for opinions.

The 77A9G and 65A90J are roughly the same price right now. Is the picture quality of the A90J worth the cost of the extra 12" of screen?

well i can tell you what I did…. Buy a 77 inch a9g from greentoe for way cheaper then the msrp. I cannot talk price but i would always take the larger tv unless you have to have hdmi 2.1 go with a9g

Ha, I honestly didn't even see there was an A80J until right after posting. Without any detailed investigation I think you guys are right and that's the way I'm going.

Depends on how far you sit from the screen. The larger screens have more issues. Whisper 74 went through 3 77” CX last year. People don’t tell you the truth. Low resolution looks bad on bigger screens from too close no matter how good they are. If 8 feet or further, 7780J.
