My 811 does not recognize the SW64 switch. I only get either the 110 or the 148 sat depending on which line I connect. I also have two 301s that are operating normally.

Has anyone else seen this problem? E* is coming this Saturday to look at it but I though if there was any info that I can "inform" them of it would be helpful.

THanks in advance...

I have a SW64 with a 6000, 3800, and 2700. This works great.

Is your SW64 power inserter in the line from the 811? Double check this connection. Try putting the power inserter in the line from a 301 instead. This will require that you switch the SW64 output 1 to the input of the 301 and move the power inserter to the room with the 301. This will let you know if it is a power inserter problem or a 811 problem.

The power inserter is line with one of the 301s already. I'm beginning to think that the 811 is at fault. Luckily it's under warranty.

I did read over at satelliteguys about resetting the SW64 by disconnecting all inputs from the dishes. Has anyone tried that?

You may want to try changing which output port on the 64 the 811 is hooked up to. You could just have a bad port on the switch. If you only have three receivers there should still be an unused port to try. If that doesn't help, you may be able to get dish to ship you another 811 or come out and change your gear to dishpro (lnbs and switch).

I tried the other two possible ports but no luck. I also tried to put a 301 on the line that was on the 811 and had the same problem. I'm really confused now. Could it be the cable run?
