I just bought a 8110 the hours meter says 6300 hours give or take a few,

but there is NO usage wear? Could this be normal or where the gun defiantly changed.

btw I paid $700 for it, because I know it will be asked.


also whats the standard brightness and contrast settings?


I've had it on for about 15min and it already great to be back in the electrohome family.

I have a NEC GP5000 that i have to figure out what to do with now that I

have a Marquee.

I never really don't believe the hours on a PJ except when they are high or have a relatively new build date. If the CLM has had the software upgraded and the existing program wasn't saved, all data is reset to 0.


As far as brightness/contrast are concerned, if you don't have a colorimeter, use Tim Martin's setup. You can find it with the search engine. It works very well as does everthing Tim tells you to do.
